A large tsunami shakes northern Japan after an earthquake

Japan TsunamiThe earthquake registered 8.9 degrees on the northern coast of Japan has caused at least one death, numerous injuries, fires, power outages and mass evacuations of residents amid fears of new tsunamis.

Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru have been included in the latest newsletter of the Centre. Continue reading
